2025 SEDV Research Showcase

Innovating Energy’s Future: See How Bold Thinkers Are Bridging Disciplines to Solve Big Problems

Students in the Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Development (SEDV) program are making a meaningful impact by developing sustainable solutions to address industry challenges worldwide. This unique, transdisciplinary program, with contributions from the School of Public Policy, Haskayne School of Business, Schulich School of Engineering, School of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Science, offers a curriculum enabling students to transition from business and/or technical foundations to truly interdisciplinary practice.

Each fall, the program hosts its annual SEDV Student Research Showcase to celebrate the achievements of our graduates following the 16-month intensive program. The showcase highlights the capstone projects undertaken by each student as part of their studies. This year, we were pleased to return to in-person events and celebrate this milestone with the SEDV community. For those unable to attend, students' research posters are available below.

Full project reports may be accessed in the university library if students have opted to share them. Please note UCalgary login credentials may be required to view these materials.
