Expert Group on Canada-U.S. Relations

About

The Expert Group on Canada-U.S. Relations focuses on developing the key elements of a comprehensive Canadian strategy for Canada-U.S. relations. It is a joint initiative developed by three leading Canadian Institutions: The Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, the Canadian Global Affairs Institute and The School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary.

The Group's distinguished membership includes business leaders, former senior government officials, and leading academics who produce reports and working papers that cover different aspects of the bilateral relationship.

As generational change in the United States is reshaping political, economic and social relations in North America, it is critical that leading policy organizations like the partners in the Expert Group on Canada-U.S. Relations bring a broader perspective on what can actually be done to address the issues.
